Clients DM your salon on Instagram — the assistant answers in Direct, offers free slots and books appointments into your calendar.
The assistant works with Instagram Business/Creator accounts. Switch in the Instagram app: Settings → Account type. It is free and reversible.
Instagram messaging runs through Meta, which requires a Facebook Page linked to your Instagram account. Create one (even an empty one is fine) and link it in Instagram settings.
On developers.facebook.com create a Business app and add the Instagram/Messenger product. Link your Facebook Page and Instagram account to the app.
You need the Instagram account ID and a Page access token with the instagram_manage_messages permission (Graph API Explorer or app settings).
In the dashboard open AI assistant → Settings → Instagram card, paste the account ID and the token, press Connect. Then in the Meta app open Configuration and paste the webhook Callback URL and Verify Token — both are shown in the Instagram card in your Klendr dashboard — then in the Webhook fields section press Subscribe on the “messages” row.
