Connect the AI assistant to Telegram

Your salon gets its own Telegram bot: it answers clients, offers free slots, books, reschedules and cancels appointments — around the clock.

1

Create a bot with @BotFather

Open Telegram, find @BotFather (the official bot with a blue checkmark) and send the command /newbot. Give the bot a display name (your salon name works best) and a username ending in “bot”, e.g. LumiNailsBot.

2

Copy the token

BotFather replies with a token that looks like 1234567890:AA… — copy it. Treat it like a password: anyone with the token controls the bot.

3

Paste the token into Klendr

In your Klendr dashboard open AI assistant → Settings, find the Telegram card, paste the token and press Connect. Klendr checks the token and links the bot to your salon.

4

Say hello to your bot

Open your bot in Telegram (t.me/YourBotName) and send it a message. It greets the client, answers questions about your services and prices, offers genuinely free time slots and books appointments right into your calendar.

5

Share the bot with clients

Put the t.me link in your Instagram bio, send it in chats, add it to your booking page. Every conversation shows up in AI assistant → Chats — you can watch, and step in and reply yourself at any moment.

💡 You stay in control: the assistant can be paused with one switch, the token can be revoked in BotFather at any time, and every booking it makes appears instantly in your calendar with reminders working as usual.
