Booking page for dance studios

Online booking for dance studios is where Klendr begins: it is a booking and accounting system for a dance school. Couples, salsa students and photographers renting the hall book from one page, and the same calendar invoices them, tracks the dance shoes you sell, keeps every client's history and shows what lessons and rentals earn.

More than online booking for dance studios: lessons, hall rental and the books in one calendar

A dance studio sells two things at once: teachers' hours and the hall itself. Each needs its own bill, its own record and its own numbers, and at the end of the month somebody has to put it together for the accountant. In Klendr that work comes straight out of the bookings.

  • Accounting and invoices — a PDF invoice with VAT for a wedding couple's choreography package or for the event agency that rented the hall for three evenings, sent automatically once the lesson or rental is over, with a due date and late interest. The monthly CSV export and PDF archive go to your accountant together with Stripe deposits. Details in payments.
  • Inventory management — Latin heels, practice shoes, heel protectors and studio T-shirts as products: sell them on the lesson invoice and get an email when size 38 runs out.
  • Client history — every lesson, payment, no-show and note in one card: "first dance to a slow waltz, dress with a train, wedding on 14 June".
  • Analytics — revenue from lessons versus hall rental, hours per teacher, the busiest evenings and the most booked styles in analytics.
  • Online booking and reminders — a link for Instagram or a form on your website, a calendar with event dates, email and SMS reminders the day before, free slots copied for a chat, email campaigns about summer hours and an Android app.

Why a dance studio needs online booking

Music is loud, you are counting "five, six, seven, eight" and the phone in your bag vibrates for the third time. Engaged couples write in March asking about June, someone wants the hall on Saturday for a rehearsal, a student asks whether Thursday at 18:00 is still free. Answering all of that in the evening is a second job.

With a booking page each of these people finds the answer alone. They open klendr.me/your-studio, choose a lesson or a rental, see only the hours that are actually free and book in four steps without an app or an account. Every booking lands in your calendar, and the client gets an email confirmation straight away.

Wedding dance: from the first lesson to the big day

Couples usually come a few weeks or months before the wedding and need several sessions: one to choose the music and the idea, then rehearsals until the dance feels easy. Create "Wedding dance lesson, 60 min" and a longer "Wedding choreography session, 90 min" as separate services with a photo and a clear description — what to bring, which shoes, whether to send the song in advance.

Each lesson is booked on its own, and the couple can take the next one from the same link at home. Your notes in the client card keep the details in one place: the song and its length, the lift you decided against, the wedding date. Klendr does not sell lesson packages, so if you offer "five lessons for a first dance", take payment for it as you do now.

Hall rental by the hour as a service

An empty hall in the morning or on Sunday is money left on the table. Add "Hall rental, 1 hour" and "Hall rental, 2 hours" as ordinary services with their own price. A dancer who wants to rehearse alone, a teacher without a studio of their own or a photographer looking for a mirror wall books the time on the same page as your students.

Rentals and lessons sit in the same calendar, so a rented hour is simply gone from the booking page and nobody can book a private lesson on top of it. If several teachers share one hall on the Team plan, keep in mind that Klendr books people, not rooms: agree on teaching hours so that two lessons are not planned in the same hall at once.

Private lessons, couple lessons and a trial lesson

Private lessons are where students make quick progress in salsa, bachata, ballroom or contemporary. Offer them in 45 and 60 minutes, plus a "Couple lesson" for two people with one price for the pair: one partner books, and you note the other in the client card. A short trial lesson at a lower price is an easy start for someone who has never danced.

A reminder goes out the day before by email and SMS, in the client’s language. If plans change, the student moves or cancels the lesson with the link in the email, and the slot opens for someone else. Klendr is made for individual appointments — a group class with a seat limit is not part of the booking page.

Several teachers and a deposit for important dates

On the Team plan each teacher has their own hours and calendar, while the studio has one booking page where people choose the style and the teacher. The owner sees the whole week in a shared calendar, and analytics show revenue and how full the schedule is for every teacher.

Wedding season fills Saturdays fast, and a couple who disappears costs you a slot someone else wanted. Connect payments through Stripe and choose one mode for the account: a deposit as a percentage of the price at booking, or a no-show fee charged only if the client does not come. When a booking is cancelled, the deposit is refunded.

Questions from dance studios

How do couples book wedding dance lessons online?

They open your booking page, choose the wedding dance lesson or choreography session and pick a free time. Each lesson is booked separately, so the couple can come back to the link for the next one.

Can people rent the dance hall through the booking page?

Yes. Create hall rental as a service for one or two hours with its own price. The rented time disappears from the booking page, so it cannot overlap with a lesson in the same calendar.

Can I take bookings for group dance classes?

Klendr handles individual appointments: private lessons, couple lessons, trial lessons and rentals. Group classes with a seat limit are not available on the booking page.

Can two partners book one lesson together?

Yes, create a couple lesson as a separate service with one price for two. One partner books, and you can note the other in the client card.

Can students choose a teacher?

On the Team plan the studio page lists all teachers, and each one has their own working hours and calendar.

How do I protect Saturdays in wedding season?

Turn on a deposit or a no-show fee through Stripe. The percentage applies to the whole account, and a deposit is refunded when a booking is cancelled.

What does Klendr cost for a dance teacher?

After 14 free days without a card, Individual costs €10 per month or €96 per year, and Individual Plus €15 per month with 50 SMS. Studios with several teachers choose the Team plan.
