Booking page for nail salons
Nail salon booking in Klendr is more than a link for clients: it is one system that runs the studio. Clients pick a gel manicure, a new set or an infill and a free time; you get the calendar, VAT invoices for your accountant, gel and tip stock, each client’s nail history and revenue analytics in one place.

Many nail studios juggle a booking app, a notebook of shade codes and a box of receipts for the accountant. In Klendr each appointment already carries the services, price and materials used, so the paperwork builds itself.
- Accounting and invoices — a PDF invoice with VAT goes to the client automatically after her visit, with a due date and a late fee; at month end you export all invoices as CSV and a PDF archive, plus Stripe deposits, for your bookkeeper — who still keeps the books. See payments and invoices.
- Inventory management — set how much builder gel, base and top coat a full set uses, and every booked set writes it off from stock; cuticle oil and hand cream sold at the desk go on the same invoice. When tips or a favourite shade run low, an email reminds you.
- Client records — every manicure and infill, what she paid, missed appointments and your notes on nail shape or a gel reaction sit in one card, and the whole base exports whenever you need it.
- Analytics and reports — revenue, money spent on materials, profit, hours at the desk, busiest weekdays, top services and clients. You see at once whether a €55 extension set earns more per hour than two gel polishes. Open analytics.
- Online booking and reminders — the booking page and SMS reminders feed the same calendar.
Why nail technicians switch to online booking
Nail appointments get booked while your hands are covered in gel. You can’t pick up the phone in the middle of a full set, so messages pile up in Instagram and WhatsApp, and in the evening you scroll back through chats to work out who asked for Thursday and who wanted “the same as last time”.
An online booking page answers those questions for you. The client sees your services with prices and durations, picks what she needs and gets only the slots where it fits. A 20-minute removal and a 2.5-hour new set never collide, because the length of each service is built into the schedule.
It works the same whether you rent a room in a salon, take clients in a home studio or run a nail bar with several desks. One link, klendr.me/yourname, goes into your Instagram bio, your Google profile and a QR code at the reception.
Klendr features for nail technicians
Everything a nail salon needs for bookings sits in one place: in the browser on your phone or computer, and in the Android app.
- Several services in one booking — gel polish plus French, a design on two nails or a repair of a broken nail: the client adds extras to the main service and the time adds up automatically. More on the booking page.
- Photos on every service — show your chrome, ombré or cat-eye work right where the client chooses, so she knows what she is booking before she writes to you.
- Calendar for day, week and month — breaks between clients, days off, holidays and drag-and-drop to move an appointment; double bookings are blocked. See the calendar.
- Reminders by email and SMS — a confirmation right after booking and a reminder the day before, in the client’s language; she can reschedule from the link herself. Details in notifications.
- Deposits through Stripe — one percentage of the booking total for the whole account, so a €55 extension set brings a bigger deposit than a €25 gel polish; it can apply to new clients only. Payments explains the free cancellation window.
- Sync with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar — personal plans and nail appointments in one view, so a dentist visit never lands on top of an infill.
Infills every 3–4 weeks: keep your regulars on track
Most nail clients return on a rhythm: gel polish lasts two to three weeks, extensions need an infill every three to four. The easiest way to keep that rhythm is to book the next visit before she leaves your desk — drop it into the calendar while her top coat cures, and the confirmation reaches her email straight away.
The client card keeps the visit history and your notes: nail shape and length, the shade code she loves, a reaction to a certain gel or a nail that keeps lifting. When she books online again, you open the card and remember everything without digging through old photos.
Fewer no-shows on long extension sets
An empty 2.5-hour slot for a new set is half a working day gone, and in a small nail studio there is nobody to fill it at short notice. A reminder the day before solves most forgotten appointments: the client either keeps the time or moves it herself, and the freed slot goes back on your page.
For the rest there are two protections. A deposit is one percentage you set for the whole account, taken from the booking total — so it grows with the appointment by itself, and a full set is covered better than a quick polish. You can ask it only from new clients and set a free cancellation window: cancel within it and the money goes back. The other mode is a no-show fee: the client’s card is saved at booking, and it is charged only if she doesn’t turn up.
Gel, drill bits and the holiday rush
Builder gels, bases, top coats, files, drill bits and tips always run out at the worst moment. Keep them in the Klendr stock list with quantities, and you get an email when something drops below your minimum — before Friday’s clients, not halfway through them.
Before Christmas, New Year, graduations and Midsummer, clients book weeks ahead. Open extra hours on specific dates — say, a Sunday in mid-December — without touching your normal week, and let regulars grab the early slots online. If you also do pedicures, add them as separate services with their own duration; they appear on the same page.
Sample nail salon price list in Klendr
Here is a typical nail menu as clients see it when booking. The duration matters as much as the price: it decides which free slots a client sees.

| Gel polish removal | 20 min | €10 |

Nail salon booking: frequent questions
What is the best booking app for a nail technician who works alone?
One your clients can use without installing anything. Klendr is a booking page that opens in any browser, and you manage it from your phone or the Android app. Individual costs €10 a month; Individual Plus with 50 SMS is €15.
Can a client book gel polish and nail art in one appointment?
Yes. She picks several services in one booking, and Klendr adds up durations and prices, so a 75-minute gel manicure plus a 15-minute design takes a 90-minute slot.
How do I remind clients about their infill?
Every booked appointment gets an email reminder the day before, plus an SMS if you have SMS switched on. For the next infill, book it in the calendar during the current visit — the client gets a confirmation now and a reminder later.
Can I take a deposit for nail extensions?
Yes. Connect Stripe and set a deposit percentage for your account — it is calculated from the booking total, so on a €55 set it is automatically larger than on a gel polish. You can limit it to new clients; within the free cancellation window the deposit is refunded. Alternatively, save the card and charge only for a no-show.
I work from home — can I still use an online booking page?
Yes. The page works the same for a home studio, a rented room or a salon. You decide which hours to open, and clients only see the times you have made available.
Does Klendr keep track of nail supplies?
Yes. Add gels, top coats, files and other consumables to the stock list with quantities, and Klendr emails you when something runs low.
Can several nail technicians share one calendar?
Yes, with the Team plan: a shared calendar, one salon page where the client chooses a master, and several addresses if you have more than one studio.
