Booking page for music teachers
Online booking for music teachers covers the timetable and the admin behind it. Klendr is one system for a private music teacher: students book piano, guitar or singing lessons from a link, and the same calendar invoices parents, tracks the sheet music and strings you sell, keeps each student's history and reports your earnings.

Teaching music means a weekly rhythm of thirty-minute and hour-long slots, plus a pile of small tasks around it: a monthly bill for each family, a pack of strings sold after a lesson, a note on which étude a pupil is stuck on. Klendr ties all of that to the lessons in your calendar.
- Accounting and invoices — send a parent one PDF invoice for all of October's piano lessons, or let Klendr email it automatically after each lesson, with VAT, a due date and late interest. Your accountant gets a monthly CSV export and a PDF archive. Klendr does not replace accounting software; it hands over clean sales records. More in payments and invoices.
- Inventory management — sheet music books, guitar strings, picks and violin rosin as products: sell them on the lesson invoice and get an email when the stock of E strings runs low.
- Student history — every lesson, the pieces you are working on, amounts paid and missed lessons in one card, ready before the spring recital.
- Analytics — revenue, hours taught, the fullest afternoons and which instrument brings the most, in analytics.
- Online booking and reminders — a link in your Instagram bio or booking form on your website, a weekly calendar with A/B weeks and holidays, email and SMS reminders the day before, Google and Apple Calendar sync and an Android app.
Why online booking for music teachers works better than calls
A music lesson needs both of your hands and both of your ears. When the phone rings during a Chopin waltz or a first attempt at an F chord, you either break the lesson or miss the call, and the missed call is often a parent looking for a teacher for September.
A booking page answers that parent while you teach. They open your link, choose the instrument and lesson length, see only the free hours and book in four steps, without an app or an account. After the lesson you find the new booking in the calendar and a confirmation already in the parent's inbox.
The same slot every week, and A/B weeks
Music is learned in a rhythm: most students come once a week at the same time, Tuesday 16:30 piano, Thursday 18:00 guitar. In Klendr you add the coming lessons of a regular student to the calendar yourself, for example to the end of the term, and drag a single lesson to another day if a school trip gets in the way. Each lesson gets its own reminder the day before by email and SMS.
Many teachers also work in a music school part-time, with a timetable that changes every other week. Set up alternating A/B weeks once, and your booking page offers free hours by the right week automatically. Students who come every second week fit naturally into the same pattern.
Each instrument and length is its own service
A six-year-old at the piano can focus for 30 minutes, a teenager preparing for an audition needs 60. Create "Piano 30 min", "Piano 45 min", "Guitar 45 min", "Vocal 45 min" as separate services with their own prices and photos, and put them in groups by instrument. Colour by service shows at a glance which instrument is next on your day.
If you teach at the student's home, make that a separate service with a longer duration that includes travel, and say so in the description. Then two home visits in different parts of town never end up back to back without time to get there.
School terms, holidays and audition season
Music lessons follow the school year. Mark the autumn, winter and spring breaks and your summer vacation in the calendar, so nobody books a lesson in the middle of July. In spring, when children prepare for music school entrance auditions or a recital, open extra hours on chosen days with the schedule for separate dates without rewriting your normal week.
In August, send an email campaign from Klendr to all your students' families: "Booking for the autumn term is open, choose your weekly time via the link". When someone asks in a messenger which hours are left, copy your free times as text and paste them into the chat.
A music studio with several teachers
When piano, guitar and drum teachers share one studio, the Team plan gives you one shared calendar and one booking page for the studio. Each teacher has their own hours and instruments, and a parent picks the teacher and the time in one place. Several addresses also work, for example the main studio and a room rented in a school on Saturdays.
For missed lessons there is payment via Stripe, with one setting for the whole account: a deposit charged at booking, or a no-show fee where the card is saved and the percentage is charged only if the student does not come. Klendr does not sell term passes, so many teachers send a monthly PDF invoice instead.
Sample price list for music lessons in Klendr
This is how instruments and lesson lengths look on the booking page. The duration tells the calendar how much time a lesson takes, so a 60-minute audition lesson never overlaps the next child.
| Service | Duration | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Trial lesson | 30 min | €12 |
| Piano for children (5–8 years) | 30 min | €18 |
| Piano lesson | 45 min | €25 |
| Piano lesson | 60 min | €32 |
| Guitar lesson, acoustic or electric | 45 min | €25 |
| Vocal lesson | 45 min | €27 |
| Music theory and solfège | 45 min | €22 |
| Ukulele for kids | 30 min | €16 |
Prices are examples for Estonia and the Baltics; you set your own instruments and rates.

Questions about scheduling software for music teachers
Can a student keep the same lesson time every week?
Yes. You add the student's weekly lessons to the calendar yourself, for example until the end of the term, and move a single lesson by dragging it if needed. Each lesson gets its own reminder.
Can I offer piano, guitar and singing on one page?
Yes. Each instrument and length is a service with its own price, grouped by instrument, so the client first picks the instrument and then the lesson.
My schedule changes every other week. Will it work?
Set up alternating A/B weeks once, and the booking page will show free hours according to the right week.
Can parents book music lessons for their children?
Yes. The parent books under their own name and gets the confirmation and reminders; the child's name and progress go into a note in the client card.
Does Klendr work for a music studio with several teachers?
Yes, on the Team plan: a shared calendar, one booking page for the studio, every teacher with their own hours and instruments, and several addresses if needed.
How much does booking software for a music teacher cost?
Individual is €10 a month or €96 a year, and Individual Plus with 50 SMS is €15 a month. The first 14 days are free on both plans.
