After the last client, the business side is still waiting: which sessions have an invoice, how much almond oil is left in the five-litre canister, whether late evening slots pay off. Why online booking for massage therapists pays off

A massage therapist cannot pick up a call in the middle of a session: your hands are covered in oil and the client on the table is trying to relax. Calls get missed, the person who wanted a Thursday evening slot books someone else, and you spend the break between clients answering messages instead of airing the room.

With a booking page the questions "what time do you have?" and "how much is 90 minutes?" answer themselves. The client opens your link from Instagram or Google Maps at 23:00, sees only real free windows and books in four steps without an app or an account. One massage, three lengths: 30, 60 and 90 minutes

Most massage menus are the same treatment sold in different lengths. In Klendr each length is its own service with its own price, and a service group keeps them together, so the client sees "Classic massage" once and then chooses 30, 60 or 90 minutes. The calendar blocks exactly that much time, so a 90-minute session never overlaps the next client.

You also need a few minutes after each client to change the sheets, wash your hands and air the room. Klendr has no separate buffer setting, so build it into the service: book "Classic massage 60 min" as a 75-minute service and write "60 minutes on the table" in the description. The client knows what they get, and the next booking can only start once the room is ready.

Notes on contraindications and massage courses

Before the first session you usually ask about back pain, old injuries, pregnancy, blood pressure, varicose veins. Keep the answers in the client card: a note like "lower back L4–L5, no deep pressure on the left calf, prefers unscented oil" is in front of you every time this person books, together with the full visit history.

A course of 10 sessions twice a week is booked visit by visit: at the end of a session you drag the next appointment into the calendar yourself, or the client books it from the link. The visit history in the card shows how many sessions of the course are done. Klendr does not sell prepaid packages, so take payment for the course the way you do today.

Every visit gets its own reminder by email and SMS a day before, in the language of the client. If plans change, the client moves the appointment via the link in the email, and the freed slot opens on your booking page for someone else.

Working in more than one place

Many massage therapists rent a room in one studio on Monday and Wednesday and work at a sports club on Friday. Set the working hours per day and use the schedule for separate dates, so each day only offers the hours you are really there. Put the place in the service name or description, for example "Sports massage — Kalamaja studio", so the client knows where to come.
